AFC Barrow joint-manager Darren Sheridan reckons the pressure is all on Brentford ahead of tonight's FA Cup clash in Cumbria.

Bees boss Andy Scott captured the signatures of Leicester City winger Eric Odhiambo and Southend striker Damien Scannell on loan until January yesterday to ease a player shortage at Griffin Park.

Leicester City winger Odhiambo, 19, goes straight into the squad for the trip to the north west, while 23-year-old Southend striker Scannell is cup-tied.

Barrow have never beaten a Football League club in the Cup since dropping out of the league in 1972 and last reached the third round in 1991.

And Sheridan reckons their role as underdogs will work in his side's favour.

"Non league teams always lift themselves for games like this, and I am sure our lads will do exactly that," he said.

"We are the underdogs, yes, but that means the pressure is on Brentford.

"Last time the Setanta Sports cameras came to Holker Street we put in a brilliant performance to beat Oxford United 3-0."

And fellow boss Dave Bayliss admits the fact his side have nothing to lose is key to their chances.

"Anything can happen in the FA Cup, you need that little bit of luck," he said.

"If Brentford beat us it's expected, but if they get beat then it's a massive shock.

"So, basically our players can go out and enjoy themselves."
