Blue Square Premier strugglers Barrow knocked Brentford out of the FA Cup tonight.

Matt Henney stooped to head the winner with 20 minutes left after Bees sub keeper Lloyd Anderson - on because of Ben Hamer's red card - made a great save to keep out David Brown's shot.

Despite dominating possession, Bees created precious few chances and were left facing FA Cup embarrassment after Hamer's 35th-minute dismissal led to Barrow taking the lead.

Hamer lost control as he tried to avoid handballing outside the box and sent Barrow's Jason Walker sprawling on the left edge of the box.

There was no disputing that he pulled the Barrow striker down, but there was a convering defender in the six-yard box and referee Colin Webster appeared to have blundered in producing a red card.

David Brown sent sub keeper Anderson the wrong way from the spot.

Charlie MacDonald threw the 10 men a lifeline when he neatly side-footed home from six yards in the 50th minute after a defender had only managed to head Sam Wood's cross into his path.
