Sutton United manager Paul Doswell could bring another striker to the club having released Andy Forbes.

With Richard Jolly also having left, United have just Craig Dundas, Leroy Griffiths and Bradley Woods-Garness up front as they prepare for Blue Square South, leaving Doswell pondering the option of signing another forward.

"We are going to go with Leroy, Craig and Bradley as strikers, with possibly one more joining us for pre-season," he told the club's website.

"I have said before that I am happy to go with a squad of 16 or 17 and I am sure the squad we have got now will be competitive.

''Andy did a fantastic job for me in helping us to win the league but, as was the case with Richard, we have got a strict budget to keep to and cannot keep everyone."

Forbes scored 15 goals in 34 games having joined from Woking in October.
