Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea has been boosted by news back row Maurie Fa'asavalu and fly half Nick Evans should be fit to face Gloucester in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.

The pair have been missing since the Big Game 4 defeat to Saracens last month, but are expected to return as Quins bid to keep hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the competition alive.

Saturday's clash is Harlequins first at the Stoop since a 21-10 defeat to Toulouse on December 9 and O'Shea doesn't want his men to waste the opportunity.

"We have had a tough period, but we have turned the year top of the league and still in with a good chance of making the Heineken Cup quarter finals," he said.

"If we win a couple more games in Europe we are in to the last eight and that is very exciting.

"We've gone to Toulouse and put in a massive performance as a whole group of players and it is no good doing that if you don't then get through the group."
