Kingston & Polytechnic Harrier Phoebe Law represents Surrey at the final race of the British Cross Challenge series in Birmingham on Saturday.
Law, who already has a race win in the series at Mlton Keynes under her belt, goes in the U20 women’s race in the midlands, which is doubling as trials for the world championships in China later this month.
The 18-year-old has every chance of making the cut, having been a member of the Team GB U20 women's team that claimed gold at the European Cross Country Chamionships before Christmas.
Kingston clubmates Zak Wort and Mollie O’Sullivan will compete in the U15 boys and U15 girls events respectively, while Neil Wellard goes in the U17 boys race.
