Chris Dack and Dominique Blaize were the stars of the show as Kingston & Polytechnic Harriers kicked off there Southern Athletics League Division Three South West campaign in style on Saturday.
The pair delivered the male and female performances of the match as Kingston racked up 258 points to claim victory by five points from hosts St Mary’s Richmond AC.
Dack threw a whopping 15.87 metres to win the men’s shot, while Blaize set a mark of 11.65m to win the women’s event.
The 27-year-old former Brunel University student also won the women’s hammer and claimed points in three other events.
Kingston’s junior Great Britain cross country international Phoebe Law won the women’s 800m in two minutes 18.2 seconds and the 2,000m steeplechase, while Rhianna Reynolds won the high jump and Camilla Thrush claimed victory in the javelin.
