Thames Turbo Triathlon’s Tim Male won the men’s race at last week’s Crystal Palace Triathlon.
Despite the strong winds, Male was helped by a course record 32 minutes, 10 seconds, for the 20k bike split as he finished the event,which also consisted of a 750m swim and 5km run, in one hour, four minutes, seven seconds.
Bradley Hales, of Optima Racing Team, set a course record eight minutes, 49 seconds in the swim.
Women’s winner was Parys Edwards, of Ful-on-Tri, in 1.11:01.

Girls: 15-16 Armanni Antoine-Chagar (Swim for Tri), 13-14 Evangeline Foster, 11-12 Jemima Walker (East Essex), 9-10 Freya Thomson (Thames Turbo), 8 Tallulah Penney (Thames Turbo).
