Former Stoke D’Abernon cricketer Natalie Sciver is one of only a few English players not to have tasted an Ashes series defeat – and she is not about to start losing now.
The 22-year-old Surrey and England Women star was this week named in the 14-strong squad to take on Australia this summer.
Sciver featured in Ashes series wins in 2013 and 2014 and is after a hat-trick when hostilities kick-off on July 21.
“It will not be a walk in the park. Australia are the world’s best one day and T20 team,” she said.
“We hold the urn already which is an advantage, but it will be tough.”
