Kingstonian face a mountain to climb to lift the Surrey Twenty 20 Cup in Ashford on Sunday.

The Surrey Championship Division Four beat Premier Division strugglers Valley End by two wickets earlier this month to reach finals day at Ashford Cricket Club.

Of the four semi-finalists they are the only team not in the county’s top flight and take on Premier Division Weybridge for a place in the final.

Should they get there, skipper Amir Hussain’s men will face either Reigate Priory or Wimbledon, who have both claimed the Surrey Championship Premier Division crown in recent seasons.

Ks are in good league form after clinching a three wicket win over second-placed Dorking as they successfully chased to 135 all out to keep faint hopes of a top two finish alive.

Kingstonian are 31-points off the top two and host struggling Old Emanuel on Saturday.

Sunday's action at Short Lane starts at 10:30am with Kingstonian facing Weybridge in the second semi-final at 1.15pm.

The final, which will see the winners become Surrey's representatives in the ECB NATWEST Club T20 national competition, takes place at 4.15pm.
