Brentford boss Rosler disappointed with the lack of goals
Brentford boss Uwe Rosler was a disappointed manager after a last-gasp strike salvaged a League One point at Gillingham on Saturday.
Farid El Alagui came off the bench to maintain the Bees’ unbeaten start to the season, after Adebayo Akinfewa had the Gills ahead before the break.
Rosler said: “We talked about not converting our good play into goals, and we had good chances against Gillingham.
“We also talked about the opposition not coming into our box very often, but when they do they score a goal.
“So overall I'm disappointed with our performance.”
He added: “I see the potential. There are things we need to keep on working on the training ground, but my young players are getting more experience and eventually we will score more goals.”
Brentford host Walsall this weekend, before the trip to Derby County in the second round of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
