Kingstonian boss Tommy Williams is hoping midfielder Daniel Sweeney can continue to blossom in the Ryman Premier League.

The former AFC Wimbledon yopungster, who has made more than 60 appearances and scored eight goals for Ks, penned a new deal at Kingsmeadow at the weekend.

Sweeney, who had trials with Ipswich Town last year, is the latest member of last season's squad to commit to another campaign with the club.

"Daniel is a player with huge potential," said Williams.

"He has the hunger and ambition that matches myself and the club. I'm looking forward to working with him and helping in his progression."
