AFC Wimbledon keeper Ross Worner has signed for Woking of the Vanarama Conference Premier on a month's loan.

Worner has played second fiddle to James Shea since the start of the season, and he is returning to the Cards as cover for the injured Aaron Howe.

The 24-year-old left Woking in 2010 to join Charlton Athletic and then moved on to Aldershot before joining the Dons in the summer of 2013.

Dons boss Neal Ardley said in August that the number one jersey was Shea's to lose after he impressed in pre-season, and continued in the same vain in League Two.

And Worner faces a fight to get that jersey back, with Ardley adding: "Since the start of the season, James has played well and he is steadily getting better with every game.”
