Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Alan Dowson will begin his Beavers rebuild tonight when a Tottenham Hotspur XI visit the Beveree.

Dowson's men crashed 3-0 at Bognor Regis Town on Saturday after losing by the same score at Met Police last Tuesday.

The manager has vowed to overhaul his team during a two week break from Ryman Premier League action and has already said goodbye to Karle Carder.

Defender Billy Jeffreys has joined Slough Town on a month-long loan as Dowson bids to freshen up his playing staff.

Hampton have moved their Middlesex Senior Cup clash at Wealdstone to this Saturday, but it is the visit of Premier League Spurs that will give the former Kingstonian chief a first look at his new plans.

"It’s great news that Tottenham have agreed to pay us a visit," said Dowson.

“It’s vital that the club improves its relationships with others and there aren’t too many bigger teams in London.

“We are without a league game the following Saturday, so it was vital we arranged a game to keep us ticking over.”
