Chelsea forward Patrick Bamford, who is on loan to Crystal Palace, remains a January transfer target for Middlesbrough, reports say.
The England U21 star shone during his time at the Championship club, scoring 17 goals in 39 games as Boro came within four points from securing an automatic play-off spot.

After returning from Middlesbrough, Chelsea immediately loaned Bamford back out to Palace, where they hoped he would gain valuable Premier League experience.
According to the Gazette Live, Boro boss Aitor Karanka remains keen on luring the forward back to the Riverside Stadium this winter.
Bamford, who has only played six games for the Eagles this season, is expected to return to Chelsea this winter but may yet again be sent out on loan, with a host of Premier League clubs said to be interested in a deal.
