AFC Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley does not consider the next two home games to be crucial, he just wants a good performance.

Wycombe Wanderers under Gareth Ainsworth are the visitors on Saturday, and they sit just one point below the Dons in the League Two table with two games in hand.

Moreover, Wycombe have lost only once on the road in seven games – leaving Ardley under no illusions about how tough the game is likely to be.

He said: “Gareth has done a fantastic job at Wycombe, and his teams are always very difficult to play against.

“It will be no different on Saturday, they will not come to roll over, they are going to attack us, but if our performance is good, we give ourselves a great chance of winning.”

He added: “I don’t think about winning the home games as crucial, I just think about getting a good performance level.”
