Probably Chris Wilder's most valuable asset, 'Beano' initially joined Oxford on a season-long loan from Shrewsbury before making the move permanent at the end of the 2008/09 season. The Wiltshire-born striker, who made his name at Kidderminster Harriers, has played for the England C team and has already notched more than 65 goals for the Yellows. He was named player of the season by fans and players in 2008/09 and his name continues to echo around the terraces. Captained United at Wembley and named permanent skipper following Adam Murray's departure.
