Brentford boss Mark Warburton has vowed there will be more new faces to arrive at Griffin Park before the transfer window closes.

The Bees signed Spanish 23-year-old Jose Pelleteiro Ramallo on a three-year deal from Celta Vigo last week, as well as Arsenal 19-year-old Jon Toral on a season-long loan.

Promising 18-year-old Montell Moore also penned a new three-year deal last week and Warburton expects to add more depth to his Championship squad before September 1.

"There might be one or two more to come in," he said.

"Last season Harlee Dean played through the pain barrier because we didn't have any cover.

"We have to have quality at every position at this level. We can't afford to be short.”

Brentford are yet to secure their first league win of the campaign after Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Bournemouth, but Warburton is remaining positive.

Former Luton Town striker Andre Gray rattled the bar for the Bees in the first half, while Alan Judge and Jonathan Douglas also went close in a performance that drew plenty of praise from the Bees boss.

"Very positive performance. Very dominant in the last half hour," said Warburton.

"We broke two or three times with real purpose. We showed a lot of people that we can mix on this division.

"Andre Gray has come on in leaps and bounds. His fitness levels have improved dramatically. He's a hungry goalscorer, a street scorer in my mind.

"He'll see goal and shoot. As he improves his tactical awareness I think he'll be very effective."
