Former Crystal Palace favourite Wilfried Zaha has been speaking about his loan mover from Manchester United to Cardiff City.

The winger, taken from Palace after helping guide them to the Premier League, will feature for the Bluebirds until the end of the season after spending the first half of the season warming the Old Trafford bench.

Palace had enquired about bringing Zaha back to Selhurst Park, but they were turned down by David Moyes.

Now the 21-year-old could face his old team-mates when Palace go to Wales in April.

He said: “It will take me a little time to get going but I am sure I can add something to the team.

“Cardiff play good football but they seem to lack something in the final third, so hopefully I, and a couple of other signings, can give them that spark in front of goal.”

He added: “I had heard a lot of good things about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, that he was a great guy and willing to help me out.

“He is what I need and I had to come and see what it was all about.”
