Crystal Palace signed five players yesterday as the January transfer window came to a close.

The Eagles have signed Blackpool winger Tom Ince on loan, Celtic midfielder Joe Ledley, Blackburn defender Scott Dann, Southampton midfielder Jason Puncheon and Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

Ince, 22, is out of contract with Blackpool at the end of the season and it is believed he rejected a late bid by Stoke to sign him on a permanent deal yesterday.

Wales international Hennessey, 27, moves for a fee of about £3m and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract.

The kepper had spent the first half of the season on loan at Yeovil after recovering from a knee injury in April 2012.

He has not played for Wolves since refusing to play against Gillingham in early January.

Dann, 26, joined for an undisclosed fee on Three-and-a-half year deal after joining Blackburn for £6m from Birmingham City in 2011 and making 26 appearances this season.

Croydon-born Puncheon, 27, has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal after a successful loan spell which was due to expire at the end of this season.

He said: "I thought it might happen at the end of the season but it's come quicker and that's good for both me and the football club."

Ledley's contract with Celtic was due to end this season and the Scottish Premier Leagur champions decided to sell for a fee rather than wait for him to leave for free.

He told "I am over the moon as it's every boy's dream to play in the Premier League.

"I have played in the Champions League and I look forward to the challenge ahead. It is going to be difficult, but we have brought in some fantastic players."

Summer signing Jose Campana has joined Nuremberg on loan until the end of the season. The German side have the option to make the deal permanent.

And Wales international Darcy Blake has been released.
