Crystal Palace fans react as Wilfried Zaha is overlooked and Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard called up

Lingard, 22, joined the Three Lions squad today (November 15) after United teammate Michael Carrick and Leicester forward Jamie Vardy was ruled out of Tuesday’s friendly against France.

Despite previously representing England U21’s, Lingard has only made five Premier League appearances for the Red Devils in almost four years.

In contrary, Zaha has played over 50 games in the top flight and has enjoyed a productive start to this campaign with the Eagles.
