Louis van Gaal will have Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo at his disposal for the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.

The duo were injury doubts for the weekend but van Gaal confirmed both have recovered from their injuries and are available for selection.

Van Gaal can also utilise Marouane Fellaini after the Belgian saw out the final game in his suspension during the week.

Van Gaal said: “There are many players [to choose from].

“Fellaini is not suspended, Darmian and Rojo are not injured anymore. I have 27 players.”

Van Gaal, 64, also acknowledged the expectations for a club like Man United to claim silverware this season.

He said: “A club like Manchester United needs silverware. Close is not enough. You have to win it.

“I think the interest of the club is much more important and the interest of the fans is more important than those of the manager.

“Of course, you have your own aims and that’s one of the aims I have had always, so it’s always exciting when you are so close, but you always want to win it.

“You must win these games. In one match you can lose a lot. You have to cope with that pressure.”
