Crystal Palace stopper Wayne Hennessey admits it was a “surprise” to see Aaron Ramsey’s new hairstyle.
The Arsenal star revealed his new bleach blonde look on Instagram on Wednesday.
Ramsey’s Wales teammate, Eagles keeper Hennessey, joked that the midfielder looked like global superstar Justin Bieber.
Hennessey, 29, is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail: “He [Ramsey] looks like Justin Bieber.
“There has not been any ribbing, I think it suits him. It might be a bet, I don’t know.
“But I don’t think we will all be copying him like Romania.
“It was a surprise, we did not know he would do it, but he can pull it off and if he can do it on the pitch it won’t matter.”
Hennessey and Ramsey begin their Euro 2016 campaign with Wales on June 11 with a match against Slovakia.
The duo will then be up against some familiar faces as they take on England, before they finish the group stage against Russia.
