Football Italia say that Liverpool and London rivals Tottenham and Palace are interested in the Slovenia international, while Watford, West Brom and reigning champions Leicester City are also weighing up offers.

It is claimed long-term admirers Leicester, who hope to bolster their squad this summer after a sensational campaign, are the frontrunners to secure Ilicic’s signature.

Ilicic started his career in Slovenia and has made 36 appearances for his country since breaking into the national side in 2010.
