Epsom & Ewell boss Lyndon Buckwell has stepped down as manager for family reasons after eight years in charge.
The boss made his announcement after presiding over Saturday’s 5-2 win at Hanworth Villa in the Premier Division of the Combined Counties League.
In a club statement, Buckwell said: “My last game will be this weekend against Frimley Green, and it is with deep sadness that I will be leaving.
“The move down to West Sussex has taken its toll on my work and family.
“I leave knowing that on the pitch the club is in a better shape than when Tony Coombe and I took it over, the highlight being when we won the League Cup in 2013.”
Buckwell’s assistant Glyn Mandeville will take over the reins.
The home match against Frimley Green at Chipstead has been designated as a “Thank you Lyndon” day.
Taking over the reins will be Buckwell’s assistant Glyn Mandeville.
