Whyteleafe defender Louis Hollingsworth will be out of action for up to three weeks after suffering a head injury in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Redhill.

The 26-year-old was knocked briefly unconsciously and went to hospital for checks.

Leafe boss John Fowler said: "It was quite a bad one and he had a nasty cut, but I spoke to him on Saturday evening in hospital and he said he was fine.

"The doctors bonded up the cut and did all their checks and he was released on Saturday evening.

"But because of the nature of the injury, he'll be out for a few weeks until it has chance to completely heal.

"I am not sure if he was knocked unconscious, but the players said his eyes were rolling in his head and he was out of it."

On the result, Fowler added: "It was one of our better performances, although their goal was a bad one to give away.

"But we had some great chances to win it at the end and on another day, those chances go in.

"I get the feeling that they were happier with the draw than we were."
