Striker Ryan Moss is hoping the bad times are behind Ks after his goal ended a run of three straight Ryman Premier League defeats.

The 27-year-old fired the only goal of the game on Monday night as boss Alan Dowson’s men beat Wingate & Finchley 1-0 to bounce back from Saturday’s 4-1 horror home defeat to Hendon.

Moss struck in the third minute, but Ks  – who travel to Thamesmead Town on Saturday – were unable to add to  their tally, despite Wingate having two men sent-off.

“We’ve been on a bit of a bad run, so it was just important to get three points,”  said Moss, who watched strike partner Andre McCollin hit the post with a late penalty.

“Everyone goes through a period where you are not as good. We just need to get some wins under our belts and we’ll be fine.

“We need to stick together. Hopefully, we have got through the bad patch now.”
