Ks are relaxed and ready to get on a roll

On the ball: Kingstonian new boy Ryan Woods puts the boot in against Margate on Monday
Kingstonian assistant Mark Hams has insisted his side are in a no lose situation when they host high-flying AFC Hornchurch on Saturday.
Ks came from behind to secure a third straight win on Monday with a 2-1 triumph over Margate coming through goals from Sam Clayton and Ryan Woods.
It came after Saturday’s 2-0 win over Wingate & Finchley – through goals from Bashiru Alimi and Aaron Goode – and means boss Alan Dowson’s men have lost just one game in their past nine Ryman Premier League encounters.
The run has lifted Ks to eighth in the table, their highest league position of the campaign, and Hams reckoned his men should be justifiably confident going into this weekend’s clash.
“There is no pressure on us. We can go in to the game in a relaxed frame of mind,” he said.
“We are on such a good run that even if we lose it will still be only two defeats in 10 games or something like that.
“We don’t fear anyone, but we cannot afford to think we have cracked it.”
Star striker Bobby Traynor returned to the starting line-up on Monday in place of the injured Stuart Duff, but it was striker Allan Tait’s introduction from the bench that inspired the turnaround, as he had a hand in both goals.
“Bobby needed help up front, so it was nice to make a personnel change and alter the shape of the side to win a game,” added Hams.
Duff, Tom Hutchinson, Chris Page and Tom Bird were all doubts for the weekend.
