Croydon’s Harry Brockman celebrates, above, at the final whistle after Tristan Toney’s goal saw the Trams into the second qualifying round of the FA Cup after a 1-0 win over Molesey at Croydon Arena on Saturday.
Croydon are rock bottom of the Southern Counties East League having lost all five games, but in the cup they are flying and they were too strong for the visitors, currently ninth in Ryman Division One South.
The Trams’ reward, as well as the £3,000 prize money, is a trip to Brentwood Town of the Ryman Premier League on September 26.
