Barry doubt for Euros

Gareth Barry will have a scan on Sunday on the groin injury that threatens to rule him out of Euro 2012.
The midfielder was introduced as a half-time substitute during England's 1-0 win over Norway, but he lasted barely half an hour before indicating he had suffered a problem which could cause new manager Roy Hodgson a major headache.
Hodgson has to submit his official 23-man squad to UEFA on Tuesday lunchtime, which offers next to no time for Barry to prove his fitness should the problem be a serious one.
"I haven't spoken to the doctor yet but I would very much doubt we would wait until Monday," said Hodgson.
"I would think it will be tomorrow. I am just using my common-sense. Gareth thinks he needs a scan. I presume it will happen tomorrow."
Barry was a major fitness doubt before the World Cup two years ago.
And though Fabio Capello did take a chance, the move backfired as after missing the first game against the United States, Barry failed to find any sort of form as England crashed out in the last 16.
"It is something he felt during the course of the game," said Hodgson.
"I am not prepared to say it is serious at the moment. It is going to demand our attention at least. We don't have a lot of time if the scan shows that it is something more than minor."
Hodgson confirmed Manchester United pair Phil Jones and Ashley Young had been taken off as a precaution after experiencing tightness in their hamstrings, while Scott Parker came through an hour with no ill-effects after a recent hamstring complaint.
