Tadworth AC had to settle for second and third places at the Nonsuch parkrun last weekend, after Kevin Quinn, of Real Runners, blew away the competition.
Pace ace Quinn covered the 5km course in 15 minutes, 24 seconds — finishing ahead of both Peter Mills (17:28) and David Williamson (17:50).
There was more joy for Epsom Oddballs’ Charlotte Carter, who was the fastest woman, clocking a personal best of 20:04.
The Banstead Woods meeting was the scene of a double win for Collingwood AC, as Neil Reissland (17:17) took the men’s race, and Mary James (19:51) the women’s.
There was also success further afield for Tadworth star Paul O’Callaghan, who won the Riddlesdown meeting in 17 minutes flat.
We're off: The runners set off at the Nonsuch parkrun SP76363
