More than 250 runners turned out at Saturday’s Weybridge Running Festival in Whiteley Village.
Theodore Patel won the 5k race in 19 minutes, 17.89 seconds, while Paul Rodgers triumph in the 10k event, clocking 35:46.51.
The men’s Alm race went to Matthew Rea (20:00.71) and the women were led home by Clair Haslett (27:41.65).
Richard Exworthy, head of fundraising, said, “The festival was a fantastic event.
“Hundreds of people came to Whiteley Village and enjoyed the morning, running for charity around the wonderful cottages and acres of beautiful woodland.
“We’re very grateful to the businesses who supported the event and to everyone who took part.
“Planning for the second Weybridge Running Festival has already started.”
