Robert Lowe of Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers won a hat-trick of gold medals on Saturday at the Surrey & Sussex Masters Championships in Ewell.
Lowe, competing in the M45 age group, was strongest in the throws winning the javelin (27.72m) and discus (21.09m), as well as the long jump (3.64m).
Kingston won eight gold medals overall, which included Andrew Gordon’s winning throw of 34.49m in the M35 javelin.
On the track, Clare Nelson won double gold, clocking 15.9 seconds to win the W45 100m, followed by victory in the 200m (33.5secs).
Adam Bellis also won double track gold, having taken the M35 200m (23.6secs), he then won the 400m 51.9secs.
