Caitlin Dimbleby has written herself into the Kingston AC & Polytechnic Harriers record books by being the first K&P woman to clear 3m in the pole vault.
The 15-year-old was competing in the Lily B League at Walton’s Stompond Lane on Saturday when she won the U17s event.
Her performance helped propel K&P to the top of the league table at the same time, ahead of the final meeting in Guildford this weekend.
K&P dominated the Walton meeting, finishing the day on 301 points, 42 ahead of nearest rivals Croydon, and 142 ahead of third-placed Sutton.
The club sit top of the overall 12-team table with 633 points, just ahead of Guidlford.

Other K&P winners included Mollie O’Sullivan in the U15s 800m in two minutes, 21 seconds, and Rhianna Reynolds leaping 4.62 to win the U15s long jump.
In the same age group, Sophie Dimbleby won the javelin by almost 5m, launching it 24.96m.
She was joined among the winners by Ella Norman who threw the hammer 20.86m for top spot.
At U17s level, Laura Darcey was a triple winner in the high jump (1.53m), the 80m hurdles (13secs) and the 300m (43.1secs).
Louise Trott was a double winner in the 300m hurdles (56.5secs) and 200m (27.9secs).
Amber Drummett won the triple jump with a leap of 7.16m, and the Kingston team were not finished there as the 4x100m relay squad were on top form winning in 56.3 seconds.
