Dwain Chambers is determined to end his World Championships in Moscow on a high with a medal-winning performance in Sunday's 100m relay.
The 35-year-old Belgrave Harrier and Team GB representative missed out on the opportunity to mix with the likes of Usain Bolt and Justin Gatlin in the 100m final at the Luzhniki Stadium after finishing sixth in the semi finals in 10.15 seconds, well below his season's best of 10.04.
The seven-time national champion, who was looking to reach his third World Championship final, was left disappointed with his performance
“I don’t know what to say – I don’t have any thoughts,” he said.
“Being part of the World Championships has been great, it’s been great to be back here again and part of the team.
“Other than that it’s disappointing.
“We’ve still got the relay to come, hopefully an opportunity for us to do well.”
