Twickenham held Tabard at bay for the first 25 minutes of Saturday's London Two North clash, but finished up on the wrong end of t a 33-17 scoreline.
The damage was done in a second quarter with Tabard scoring four tries to lead 26-0 at half-time.
Twickenham battled back strongly in the second half with tries from Richard Moses and Rob Kirby, with Neil Francis kicking two conversions and a penalty.
