Kingston Trampoline Academy members took part in a gala weekend at Eastleigh earlier this month, writes Sarah Silvester.

Cassy Weitz finished fourth in the U15 age group and qualified for the national finals, Zoe Preston also finished fourth and qualified for national finals in the U13 age group.

Alice White competed two good commendable routines, and was a fraction short of retaining her grade two status.

On the Sunday, Michael Freeman competed in the over-19 age group and lead from the start to take first place by over four whole marks.

Ross Harding performed very well and just missed out on retaining at grade one.

Emma Britton took the lead after the first two rounds in the U15 group and, after a good set routine, Elise Gibbins made a mistake in her voluntary at move eight and did not complete the routine.

Emma was unable to complete a whole routine.

Kate Bramall in U19s competed first in the group and set a high standard that resulted in fifth place and national finals.

Andrew Freeman competed in the men's event and, after competing his new routine, was in fourth place going into the final.

The scores were zeroed and he managed to complete a better routine and finished in third place.

The synchronised event was a great success, with Emma Britton and her partner from Liverpool winning in the U15 group and Andrew and Michael Freeman winning the over-15 group.
