Leatherhead’s Chris Eaton lost out in the doubles of the ITF Futures £15k event in Austin, Texas, last week.

Eaton and Moldova’s Roman Borvanov went down 6-3 6-3 to South Africa’s Andersen and the United States’ Zavala.

In the quarter-finals, Eaton and Borvanov had defeated Britain’s Edward Corrie and his American partner Hilliard 6-3 7-6.

This week, Eaton is defending champion in the men’s singles at the Aegon GB Pro-Series event in Glasgow. Last year he also won the doubles alongside Dominic Inglot.
