The Emer Casey Memorial 10km race is held in Brockwell Park this Sunday.
Entries for the race, in aid of the Emer Casey Foundation which funds research into ovarian cancer, has already exceeded the number for last year’s inaugural event.
Organiser James Ward said: “I am confident many more will enter on the day, generating valuable funds for the extremely worthwhile charity.”
Entries on the day cost £16.
