Wandsworth’s Oscar Tudor has won the boys’ U12s category in the NatWest Pro Bowling final after overcoming a host of hopefuls at Lord’s.
The competition seeks out the most talented bowlers from around the country by using cutting edge technology to measure the speed and accuracy of their bowling.
Oscar was able to draw inspiration from England fast bowlers Stuart Broad, Steve Finn and Katherine Brunt, who were all on hand to provide tips on perfecting the finalists’ technique.
The competitors were also given a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to bowl at former England captain Michael Vaughan.
Oscar said: “To win the Pro Bowling final is amazing. It was such a fun day and so cool to meet the England players. Stuart Broad, Steve Finn and Katherine Brunt all gave me some helpful tips, and I even got the chance to bowl at Michael Vaughan!”
