Former Hampton School student Karl Hudspith will lead the local charge in the race to secure a seat in the 2011 Boat Race.
The Twickenham 22-year-old, a World University champion and U23 World Championship bronze medalist, will bid for a blue after being selected in the Oxford University squad preparing for next year’s race.
Barnes’ 19-year-old Tom Fieldman faces the same challenge after being name in the Cambridge University squad for the winter.
