Croydon’s Bradley Ellis is setting his sights on another Brands Hatch podium when the Kent circuit hosts the latest rounds of the Radical UK Cup on Saturday and Sunday.

The 23-year-old and team-mate Andy Cummings currently lie fifth in the title fight but the iconic Grand Prix circuit is usually a happy hunting ground for Ellis, who has finished on the podium in virtually every category he has raced there.

“It has been a while since I raced at Brands Hatch but I always get great support whenever I race there,” said Ellis.

“It would mean a lot to ad another win or podium to my race CV.”

“Our Oulton Park podium was well timed as it gives us an extra confidence boost heading into my home event. We actually just missed out on taking the Supersport class win last time out, so Andy and I will be working really hard to build on that form.

“It’s really important that we continue to clock up the championship points at Brands Hatch. There’s quite a gap to the front runners in the title fight but I’m pleased with our progress so far and, at the end of the day, it’s all about consistency. It should be a great double-header race weekend – I’m really looking forward to it.”

The Radical UK Cup action kicks off at 9.30am on Saturday, June 4, with a double practice session prior to qualifying at 15:10. The lights will go green for round five at 12:40 on Sunday followed by round six at 5.45pm.
