London Blitz successfully defended their British American Football Championship crown at Crystal Palace last weekend.

Blitz ran out comfortable winners as they won the final 18-0 against London Warriors - who included television presenter Vernon Kay in their side.

Touchdowns for Blitz came on a pass from Fred Boyle to Rod Bradley and on run by Gareth Dauley and they also added a two-point safety when a punt snap flew out of the end zone and a 48-yard field goal by Jimmy Wyatt.

More than 2,000 people turned at the National Sports Centre for the two days of action which saw East Kilbride Pirates come all the way from Scotland to beat Leicester Falcons 62-23 in the Division One Final.

In the Division Two final, South Wales Warriors beat another Scottish side, West Coast Trojans, 48-20.
