Darius Knight has been left out of the England team for the World Team Table Tennis Championships – putting his Olympic qualifying hopes in jeopardy.
Despite winning two doubles titles and reaching the semi-finals of the individual competition at the English Championships earlier this month, GB number three Knight was left out of the four-man squad.
Andrew Baggaley, Paul Drinkhall, Darren Pitchford and Daniel Reed were included – with Reed the most surprising as he is below Knight in the rankings.
