More than 300 young rugby wannabes got a chance to meet some big names at this year’s trip to Twickenham Stoop, home to London Broncos and Harlequins on a Super League match day.
Youngsters at rugby clubs from U7s to U11s were invited to the Minis’ Big Day Out as part of the London Broncos Foundation.
They were given the chance to play at the stadium before meeting the Broncos squad for autographs and photos, with the U7s forming the guard of honour for the players as they came out onto the pitch.
James Giblin head coach from Richmond Warriors said: “We’ve had a brilliant day at the festival, the young players got a real buzz from playing on the Stoop pitch and being part of a Super League match day.”
Chris Baxter from the London Broncos Foundation said: “It was a fantastic day, the weather was good and all the young players enjoyed themselves.”
