Wimbledon RFC manager James Ogilvy-Bull has his sights set firmly on one thing – promotion to National League Three.

Dons start their London Division One South campaign at Havant on Saturday, with a mixture of old and new players that Ogilvy-Bull believes is the answer to success.

Among the arrivals at Beverley Meads are second row Jack Fishwick from Ealing Trailfinders, and centre Aaron Hopkins, formerly of Maidenhead.

Coming through the ranks are scrum halfs Rhys Morgan and Tommy Moore, while Ogilvy-Bull also welcomes back Rob Tait and skipper Chris Lewis to the back row after long-term injuries.

Tait will miss the trip to Havant, but is likely to be back for the visit of Chobham on September 14.

Ogilvy-Bull said: “Our main aim this season is promotion, either automatically or via the play-offs.

“We have added to the squad’s strength in depth, and we have some excellent young players coming through and we’re ready to have right go at it.”

He added: “Having the likes of Rhys [Morgan] and Tommy [Moore] coming through the ranks is great for them and for the club, and I am sure they will excel.”
