Weybridge Vandals struck an important blow in their battle for London Division Two South West survival at Teddington on Saturday.

Head coach Nick Ridley's men - second from bottom in the table at the start of the day - won 31-18 at Bushy Park to leapfrog their rivals and move up two places in the standings thanks to their second win of the campaign.

Teddington, with only one win all season, are now second bottom themselves and are just two points above bottom club Portsmouth.

The two teams take a break from league action this weekend with league new boys Vandals hosting fellow strugglers Effingham & Leatherhead on November 23 and Teddington travelling to third-placed Tottonians.
