Kingston got off to a fine start scoring within the first 15 minutes of the match through Graeme Maisey after a well constructed driving maul took Kingston beyond the white wash.

Chobham hit back soon after when a well executed backs move was finished off under the post which was converted.

Chobham continued their momentum to score before half time taking a lead into the break of 12-5. Chobham won the early exchanges of the second half with Kingston conceding two penalties close to their posts, Chobham opted to kick and they were successful on both occasions.

With the score 18-5 with 30 minutes to play Kingston began to gain more possesion and with dominance in the tight they turned pressure into points when Chi Kavindele took a pass 10 metres out and ran past 2 Chobham defenders to score near the post, once converted the score was 18-12 with 15 mins to play.

Kingston seeking a score to win the game pressed hard through multiple phases of forward play close to Chobhams line, when the ball was past out to Andrew Chatting at fly half he feinted the pass and managed to run through a gap in the tiring Chobham defence, once converted. Kingston led 18-19 with 10 to play. Kingston managed to defend the last 10 minutes to gain a pleasing win.
