Third win on the bounce for Wimbledon's rugby stars

Wimbledon made it three wins on the spin in the London One South League following a narrow 15-14 victory at Beckenham.
The triumph keeps Wimbledon in third place in the table, where only a lack of bonus points prevents them from being joint top.
Beckenham started the stongest and opened the scoring with a converted try.
It could have been worse but some good defensive organisation from Wimbledon, including clearance and chases from full back Myles Stringer and scrum half Tommy Moore.
However, Wimbledon prevented Beckenham from getting away and were rewarded for their hard work with a penalty kicked over by Neil Hallett to leave the visitors 7-3 down at the break.
Beckenham had the wind behind them in the second half and after taking up territory near the Wimbledon line they were rewarded with a try and a 14-3 lead.
Wimbledon fought back with an unconverted Josh Stevens try and then the Beverley Meads outfit put their hosts under increasing pressure for the final moments, which eventually led to a fine move involving Leon Driscoll, Tommy Moore and Dan Brown, with Driscoll going over.
Hallett made no mistake with his kick and Wimbledon had the most slender of leads at 15-14 but there was to be no comeback for Beckenham.
Wimbledon continue their league campaign with the visit of Sidcup.
