Twickenham confirmed their dominance of London Division Two North West with a thumping 60-7 win over third placed Chiswick on Saturday.
After three wins on the bounce, and boosted by the return of several injured players, Chiswick were eyeing an upset at Twickenham’s Parkfields home.
However, Sam Knight (two), Simon Bundy, Ross Cowell, Richard Moses, Randall Clarke (two), Michael Buck, Louie Banks and Dominic Brown got the tries, and Brown also added 10 points off the boot, that meant it was a forlorn hope.
Twickenham, who have a break from the action this weekend ahead of a trip to HAC on February 8, remain seven points clear at the top of the table, although second-placed Old Priorians have a game in hand.
