England U20s centre Harry Sloan marked his Aviva Premiership debut with a try as Harlequins to a narrow 21-20 victory at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.
Worcester-bound winger Sam Smith and 19-year-old Sloan both crossed the whitewash as director of rugby Conor O'Shea's men fought back from 13-3 down at half time to take the lead with 10 minutes remaining.
But a late converted try by Chris Pennell had the visitors - still to record a Premiership win on the road this season - within one point with four minutes left.
The Warriors attempted to fashion a late drop goal attempt for replacement Paul Warwick, but Harlequins' defence forced a penalty to close out the game.
